Power Trader allows you to export chart and table in various formats for later use:

• Printing Charts
• Printing Tables
• Copying Table Data to the Clipboard
• Exporting Table Data to Excel
• Exporting Table Data to HTML
• Saving and Emailing Snapshot Images

8.1 Printing Charts

To print a chart:

• Right-click inside the chart you want to print and select Export > Print.
• A dialog box appears asking if you want to Use landscape paper arrangement. Click Yes or No, as you prefer.
• The Print Preview window appears, displaying a full-page preview of the selected chart. Check how your chart fits on the sheet of paper.

• If the chart looks too big or too small for the page, click Close in the Print Preview window to return to the chart panel and resize it as necessary, then choose Export > Print again.
• When satisfied with the preview, click the printer icon  in the Print Preview window.

8.2 Printing Tables

To print a panel table:

• Right-click inside the table you wish to print and select Export > Print.
• The Print Preview window appears, displaying a preview of the selected table. Since all visible table columns are printed, you may need to hide some columns to ensure that your table fits comfortably on the sheet of paper.

• If required, click Close in the Print Preview window to return to the panel and hide some of the columns, then choose Export > Print again.
• When satisfied with the preview, click the printer icon  in the Print Preview window.

8.3 Copying Table Data to the Clipboard

Data from any panel table can be copied to the clipboard and then inserted into the application of your choice.
To copy data to the clipboard, right-click inside the panel you wish to copy and select Export > Clipboard. The contents of the table are now placed into the Windows clipboard so you can paste it to the desired application.

8.4 Exporting Table Data to Excel

You can export data from any panel table to Microsoft Excel. You also have the option of synchronizing the data and table appearance (sort order, column width, text and background colors) in your Excel table with the source table.
To export data from a panel table to Excel:

• Right-click inside the panel table you want to export and select Export > To Excel.... This opens the Export to Excel dialog box.
• To place exported data in a specific Excel file, click the browse button () next to the Excel file name field and browse to your workbook. Enter the sheet name in the Sheet name box. If you do not specify a sheet name, the system exports the data to a new sheet in the workbook.

If you do not specify a workbook, Power Trader creates a new Excel workbook automatically to hold the data.

• Select the columns you want to export. By default, Power Trader exports all columns.
• To enable data synchronization, check Synchronize data.
• To enable formatting synchronization, check Synchronize formatting.

If you check only Synchronize formatting, the source table formatting is applied to the Excel table, but not updated afterwards. Power Trader does not synchronize formatting for columns that are not displayed in the source table.

• Click Export.

8.4.1 Data and Formatting Synchronization

To stop data synchronization, open the Export to Excel dialog again and click Stop synchronization. Data synchronization stops when you close the target Excel workbook.
Data synchronization is very helpful when you use Power Trader as an online data source for Excel analysis forms. Be careful when using formatting synchronization for such forms, because accidental sorting, moving the columns, or applying a filter to the source table makes the same changes to your Excel spreadsheet, which may cause your form to function incorrectly.

8.5 Exporting Table Data to HTML

You can export data from any panel table to HTML for reporting and analysis.
To export data from a panel table to HTML:

• Right-click inside the panel table you want to export and select Export > To HTML. This opens the Save As dialog box.
• Enter a path and file name in the File name field or browse to a different location.
• Click Save.

8.6 Saving and Emailing Snapshot Images

You can take a snapshot image of a chart or a panel table in a particular moment of time to share with your clients or fellow traders.

8.6.1 Saving Snapshots

To save a snapshot to a file:

• Right-click inside the panel or the chart you wish to snapshot and select Export > Save Snapshot or click the Snapshot button in the Chart ribbon and select Save. This brings up the Save As dialog box.
• Browse to the folder where you want to place the snapshot file.
• Enter a name for the snapshot file.
• Click Save.

Power Trader saves the snapshot to a bitmap (.bmp) file to the folder you selected.

8.6.2 Emailing Snapshots

You also have the option of directly emailing the snapshot to one or more recipients.
To email a snapshot:

• Right-click inside the panel or chart you wish to snapshot and select Export > Email Snapshot or click the Snapshot button in the Chart ribbon and select Email. Your email client opens a new message window with the snapshot file attached.
• Enter the recipient's address, subject, and message body as appropriate and send the message.
